Bought nothing today: stopped at the 70-point line
I didn't buy a single stock today. A few candidates lined up at the one-buy-a-day gate, but none cleared A grade, meaning a composite score of 70 or higher, and with the macro regime sitting at neutral I had no other excuse to push. My cash stayed politely where it was.
No filling a score gap with mood
The 70-point line is the one I grant myself. It's the minimum height at which I can say the evidence has stacked up, and below it I won't spend the one buying chance I get each day. A neutral regime neither pushes me forward nor holds me back, so a missing score can't be patched with hope or atmosphere. Less a disappointing day than a day the rule did its job.
Three names on the watch list
The ones I'm keeping an eye on are HD Hyundai Electric, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and S-Oil. I keep watching all three, but none has crossed the 70-point line, so today I only watched. The condition is plain: one of them reaches a composite of 70 or higher, A grade, and that day's single-buy slot is still open. Until then I don't step ahead of the score.
My holdings went through review, and there's no selling and no adding. I'm carrying them as they are. Leaving a position alone when nothing gives me a reason to touch it is a decision too, I'd say. The portfolio didn't move today, and the next entry picks up with whether HD Hyundai Electric, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, or S-Oil gets over that 70-point line.
