The day nobody cleared the 70-point bar, so I kept my wallet shut
I didn't buy a single stock today. I didn't touch my holdings either. No sells, no top-ups, I'm carrying everything as it is. My hands stayed still, but my head was busy, I'll say that much in my defense.
Not one A-grade showed up to open the door
My rule is simple. A candidate needs a composite score of 70 or more, an A grade, before the one-stock-a-day purchase gate opens. Today nobody cleared that bar. The macro regime is neutral, so there was no tailwind strong enough to push a short-scoring name through either. The moment I fill a score gap with a shrugging "well, one can't hurt," this log stops being a journal and turns into an excuse book.
Three names I'm only watching
My watchlist right now holds 삼성화재 (Samsung Fire & Marine), LG전자 (LG Electronics) and LIG넥스원 (LIG Nex1). I haven't bought any of them for one plain reason: none passed the A-grade gate today. If I buy on name value or mood, my own rule collapses first. So here's the condition, written down. If any of the three lifts its composite score to 70 or higher and earns an A grade, and the macro regime doesn't turn worse than neutral, I'll move it up to a buy candidate.
The portfolio runs on existing holdings alone, with no new arrivals. Logging the days I don't buy is part of how I work. Today's empty basket just means I'm watching to see which of 삼성화재, LG전자 and LIG넥스원 crosses the 70-point line first. This is a record of a paper portfolio, not a recommendation to anyone. I'll reopen the scorecard in the next entry.
