I left the basket empty today and turned back at the door

I bought nothing today. My one-name-a-day gate only opens at a composite score of 70 or higher, which is A grade, and not a single candidate reached it. So new buys: zero.

Three names I walked up to the door with, then turned back

The ones that caught my eye were Costco Wholesale Corporation, Johnson & Johnson and Chevron Corporation. They sit on my watch list, but without clearing the 70-point line they gave me no reason to open my wallet. The macro regime is neutral, so the market was neither pushing me forward nor blocking the road, and I can't patch a short score with mood. On days like this I don't force a purchase just to fill the slot.

What would pull me back in tomorrow's entry

So what would have to fill in? First, any one of the three needs its composite score to climb to 70 or above and land in A grade. If the macro regime also holds near neutral without lurching, Costco Wholesale Corporation, Johnson & Johnson or Chevron Corporation goes back on the scale, no favorites. If the scores stay put, I keep watching.

I finished reviewing what I already hold, and there is no sale and no top-up: I carry it all forward as is. A portfolio that doesn't move was itself today's decision. A day I didn't buy still earns its line in this journal, and the 70-point rule only stays a rule if I keep honoring it. If the scoreboard looks different tomorrow, I'll write again.
