One pricey but sturdy Johnson & Johnson, and the rest I just watched
Today I picked up just one new name: Johnson & Johnson, a B grade with a composite score of 58.6. The macro regime is neutral, so it wasn't a day to swing big, and I sold nothing and added nothing to my existing holdings.
Sturdy, but not cheap
| Item | Score |
|---|---|
| Fundamentals | 78 |
| Risk | 25 |
| Valuation | 28 |
| Technical momentum | 42 |
Fundamentals at 78 and a low risk score of 25 hold this one up. Valuation at 28 means the price is a stretch, and technical momentum at 42 hasn't found its legs yet. So 58.6 reads as strong body, neither cheap nor hot. I took it as a pick for its defense, not out of conviction.
Two names left outside the basket
I kept Chevron Corporation on the watchlist only, and I'm just observing Linde plc. Neither had enough behind it today. I'll take Chevron Corporation out again when its composite score and technical momentum clearly pick up, and Linde plc when it graduates from observation to the watchlist.
Right now the portfolio has Johnson & Johnson as its new defender, with the existing holdings standing as they were. Valuation at 28 nags at me, so I won't push the size. Tomorrow's entry starts by checking how far that 42 on technical momentum has moved.
