I bought nothing today — nobody cleared the 70-point bar

Today I bought nothing new. No candidate made it up to my once-a-day entry gate, so the cash stayed put. I didn't sell or add to anything I already hold either — I just carried it all through the day.

Why the bar sits at 70

My rule is simple: a composite score of 70 or higher, an A grade, or no money goes in. For me, 70 is the line where several reasons point the same way, so that even if I'm wrong I can explain why. The macro regime read neutral today, and not one candidate earned an A. Forcing a purchase on a middling score on a day with neither tailwind nor headwind isn't how I play.

Three names I'm watching

I haven't gone idle, though. Shinhan Financial Group, LS ELECTRIC and S-Oil sit on my watch list. None of them has cleared 70 yet, which is the only reason they stayed out. The condition is clear: if any one of them climbs past 70 into an A grade while the macro regime holds no worse than today's neutral, it moves up to a buy candidate.

My holdings saw no sell and no add today. Nothing new gave me reason to change my mind, so I left them alone. Sitting still is a call too. Today's entry is thin, but the next one will pick up where these three names' scores land.
