I Opened One Slot for Walmart, Price Tag and All

Today I added Walmart to the book: B grade, 55.4 overall. The macro regime read neutral, so nothing called for a big swing, and I left everything I already held alone, with no sells and no top-ups.

Strong body, but the price tag held it back

Fundamentals at 70, sentiment at 64 and technicals at 62 hold it up, and a risk score of 35 is on the low side, so the body is sturdy. Valuation at 22 is weak, though, and that dragged the overall to 55.4. A B grade here means a solid name that isn't cheap, and I opened just one slot knowing that.

Two names I'm only watching

Palo Alto Networks and NextEra Energy stayed on the watchlist today. The case for buying them isn't filled in yet. If their overall scores climb past Walmart's 55.4 and their weaker items visibly fill in, I'll put them back on the scale.

For now I read the portfolio as quiet, in step with a neutral regime. The thing to watch in the next entry is whether Walmart's valuation score of 22 starts to rise. If it stays put, I won't add more and will just keep watching the B grade. This is a paper-trading record, not advice.
