Fed stays put, KOSPI wobbles — I'm just watching today
KOSPI opened down 1.07%, KOSDAQ down 1.54%. The Fed held rates for a fifth straight meeting and the 30-year yield hit a 19-year high, so foreigners dumped over 1.25 trillion won of KOSPI stocks while institutions bought back more than 3 trillion — not enough to hold the line. AI and chips got hit hard while cloud and staples held up, and I've got nothing on today, just watching from the sidelines.
