Cheap enough to tempt me: I picked up only Hyundai Mobis today
Today I put exactly one name in the basket. I bought Hyundai Mobis fresh, a B grade at 58.0 overall. The macro regime reads neutral, which isn't a day for swinging big, and on days like that I'd rather slide one foot in quietly.
Looks cheap, but the timing is still foggy
Lay the scores out and you can see why I bought while still hesitating.
| Factor | Score |
|---|---|
| Valuation | 85 |
| Fundamentals | 55 |
| Catalyst | 55 |
| Risk | 40 |
| Technical trend | 35 |
| Sentiment | 45 |
A B grade at 58.0 isn't a name I'd sprint toward, but it leans cheap enough that laying down a small base felt fair. Valuation at 85 carried the composite, while technicals at 35 and sentiment at 45 tell me the market hasn't turned its eyes this way yet. So I'm not rushing; I'll take the timing slowly.
Shinhan Financial and Korea Zinc stay on the sidelines
Shinhan Financial Group and Korea Zinc are still on my watchlist. Neither had enough stacked up to buy today. If a clear strength shows in the scores and the weak technical trend is confirmed turning, I'll put them back on the chopping block. For now I watch with my hands in my pockets.
On the holdings side there was no selling and no adding today. What I own stays put. The portfolio changed only by the addition of Hyundai Mobis, and whether that B grade can lift itself past the weak technicals at 35 is something my next entries will follow, one step at a time.
