The Day I Kept My Hands in My Pockets at the 70-Point Line

Today I bought nothing. It's less that there were no candidates and more that not a single name cleared the bar I set for myself: Grade A, 70 points. I sold nothing from what I hold and added nothing either. I'm simply carrying it all forward.

No filling a low score with good vibes

My rule is plain. A stock needs a composite score of 70 or higher, meaning Grade A, before the one-buy-a-day gate opens. Seventy is the line where I admit the evidence has piled up enough. The macro regime today was neutral, which means the market wasn't pushing me forward or blocking my way, so there was no reason to pad a short score with mood. The verdict for today is no new buy.

Three names I keep eyeing, hands still in my pockets

Samsung Fire & Marine (삼성화재), Samsung Electro-Mechanics (삼성전기) and Korea Zinc (고려아연) sit on my watch list. They catch my eye, but none of the three has cleared the Grade A line, and I don't jump ahead on a hunch that one will rise soon. Today's material gave me no exact scores for them, so I won't say how many points short they are. What I can write down is the condition: if any one of them climbs past 70 into Grade A, and the macro regime is no worse than today's neutral, then I'll consider taking it in. That condition is the thread into the next entry.

For my current holdings there was no sell and no add. Nothing new showed up to worry me, so I had no reason to touch them. I count a day of doing nothing as a decision too. For now the portfolio stays as it is, and I'll watch which way the scores for Samsung Fire & Marine, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Korea Zinc move. The day a name clears the bar, I'll spell out why in that day's entry. This is a paper-portfolio record, not a suggestion to anyone.
