Call

I kept my wallet shut today: nobody cleared the 70-point wall

Today I bought nothing. The macro regime reads neutral, and not a single candidate at my one-stock-a-day gate reached A grade, meaning a composite score of 70 or higher. I'm also holding what I already own, with no selling and no adding.

No 70, no open door

That 70 is the minimum passing mark I set for myself. A composite score that falls short means the reasons to hesitate still outweigh the reasons to buy. On quiet days, forcing a pick to fill the slot has usually cost me more. So leaving it empty was my call today.

Three names I'm still watching

My watchlist has NextEra Energy, CrowdStrike Holdings and Walmart Inc. All three catch my eye, but none has cleared the 70-point line yet. What I'm waiting for is simple: the day any one of them climbs to 70 or above, A grade, I'll hand it the day's single slot. Until then I just keep saying their names and watching.

In a neutral tape where direction is murky, I think waiting is a position too. I didn't touch my holdings today, and that silence is my decision to keep them. In tomorrow's entry I'll start by checking how far those three scores have moved. This is a paper-portfolio record, not a suggestion to anyone.
