The day I kept my hands in my pockets at the 70-point line

Today I bought nothing. I stood at the gate that lets me add one name a day, but not a single candidate cleared the A-grade line of 70 points overall. The macro regime read neutral, and I saw no reason to lower the bar just to fill a slot.

Two security names I eyed but didn't pay for

Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet caught my eye. Both sit on my watchlist, but with scores short of the 70-point line, they're still spectators. I don't buy on a feeling that something looks decent. 70 means the evidence has piled up enough, and if I buy a name that missed it, the scorecard stops meaning anything.

The homework I'm handing to the next entry

So the condition is simple. If Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet reaches 70 points overall and gets stamped A-grade, that's the day it becomes a candidate to buy. Until then, I keep watching. Not buying today wasn't a miss, it just isn't that day yet.

My current holdings stay as they are, with no sells and no top-ups. Nothing gave me a new reason to sell or to add, so there was nothing to touch. Today's portfolio is a small proof that sitting still is also a decision. This is a paper-trading record, not a suggestion to anyone.
