One security stock in the basket, the power utility still waiting outside
Today I added Palo Alto Networks to the portfolio. The macro regime read neutral, neither hot nor cold, so I didn't swing hard and filled just one slot. The names I already hold got no sells and no top-ups; I left them be.
I opened the scorecard and found a half-full glass
| Item | Score |
|---|---|
| Sentiment | 78 |
| Technicals | 62 |
| Fundamentals | 50 |
| Risk | 50 |
| Catalyst | 50 |
| Valuation | 45 |
Palo Alto Networks scores B grade, 55.8 overall. In plain words: the crowd's mood (sentiment 78) and the chart (technicals 62) have its back, but I can't call it cheap with valuation at 45, and the fundamentals and catalyst sit at an unremarkable 50. So I didn't buy it with conviction. I judged it decent enough to pick up, and picked it up carefully.
Why NextEra Energy is still outside the door
NextEra Energy stays on my watch list today. Nothing in today's material gave me a number that says it's time. If its overall grade climbs to around Palo Alto Networks' B grade, 55.8, or better, with sentiment and technicals both holding it up, I'll open the basket for it in a later entry.
Right now the portfolio sits in a relaxed posture to match the neutral regime. Palo Alto Networks is a supporting actor rather than a lead at B grade, and that valuation of 45 remains homework. I'll keep watching which parts of the scorecard rise or fall and let my view follow. This is a paper record, not a recommendation to anyone.
