Empty-handed today: nobody cleared the 70-point bar

Today I bought nothing. New buys came to zero, and the positions I already hold stayed put: no selling, no adding. The macro regime read neutral, a lukewarm day with no real reason to rush in or to back away.

Candidates showed up, but the bar stayed high

My rule is simple. One stock a day, and it has to be A-grade, meaning a composite score of 70 or higher. That line means the stock holds up across several lenses at once without much to poke at. Nobody cleared it today, so the one-a-day gate never opened. Grabbing the best of a weak bunch would just mean deleting the gate, so I stayed empty-handed.

My watch list has Shinhan Financial Group, SK Telecom and Korea Zinc on it. They catch my eye, but all three stalled short of 70, so not yet. Here is the thread into the next entry: if any one of them climbs past a composite 70 into A-grade, I'll weigh it for that day's single slot. If the scores stay where they are, I keep calling their names from the sidelines.

Not buying is a call too

So the portfolio looks exactly as it did yesterday. The holdings review turned up no reason to sell and none to add, and a neutral regime gives me no excuse to shake things up. A day without trades may look dull, but waiting is part of the strategy. For the record, this is a log of a paper portfolio, not a word of advice to anyone.
