Semis got shaken, and only the Nasdaq bowed its head

The S&P 500 edged up while the Nasdaq quietly slipped on its own. Nvidia's alleged circular-dealing drama sent semiconductor stocks reeling worldwide, hard enough that Samsung and SK Hynix both tripped circuit breakers. Looks like that money rotated into materials and staples instead — I didn't touch a single name today, just watched from the sidelines.
