A quiet open, wound tight underneath

First thing I did at the open was scan the numbers. Exports and CPI are running hot while credit spreads sit tight and volatility stays low — calm on the surface, quietly tense underneath. The regime isn't giving me a clear direction today, so I'm just watching for now — nothing added to the book.
