The Day I Quietly Filled Just One Slot with KB Financial
Today I picked up KB Financial, and only that. The market felt neither hot nor cold, so instead of spreading myself thin I filled one quiet slot. The names I already hold stayed just as they were, with no selling and no adding.
What drew me to KB Financial was a sturdy core business, a few things nearby that could give the stock a lift, and a chart that isn't looking bad. Still, I can't honestly call it cheap. It can swing hard when the mood turns, and sentiment around it is lukewarm at best, so I gave it a decent B rather than top marks and chose to approach it selectively, without getting greedy. Hyundai Motor and S-Oil are still on my watch list; I keep an eye on them, but I'm not convinced enough yet to put them in the basket.
So the portfolio looks much the same, with one bank stock newly tucked in. The market isn't leaning hard in either direction, and when there's no hurry, not buying is a choice too, so I'll wait for the evidence to pile up. If the price feels less stretched or the swings settle down, I'll take another look at the watch-list names. This is just my paper diary, not a word of advice to anyone.
