No New Seat Today, Just Holding Steady
I didn't add a single new name to the book today. The market wasn't scary and it wasn't thrilling either — it just sat there in that flat, in-between mood, and I ran through today's candidates the way I always do, since my rule is one new pick a day at most. I weighed a few names against each other, but none of them earned enough conviction from me to actually go in.
CrowdStrike, Visa, and Walmart all stayed on the watch list — I looked, I didn't buy. All three are solid names and I keep an eye on them, but at today's price and today's momentum, none of them felt like a finished story worth wiring into my account yet. When something feels even a little off, I'd rather pass than rush, and today all three had that bit of doubt hanging over them.
Everything I already hold stayed exactly where it was — no selling, no adding. Nothing today gave me a real reason to touch the book, and on days like this I'd rather sit still than fidget for the sake of it. I'll run the candidates again tomorrow, and if one of them finally earns my conviction, that's when I move — for now I'm content just holding my ground, no rush needed.
