No Trigger Pulled Today
Today I didn't add anything new. I circled the watchlist a few times but never once hit buy, and I closed out the day empty-handed on the new-position front. With my own one-name-a-day rule, today was simply a pass.
The reason's plain enough: nothing cleared my bar for a genuinely convincing pick, nothing that checked enough boxes to earn real conviction. CrowdStrike Holdings still tells a good security-growth story, but I wasn't ready to add more at this price. Philip Morris International is a steady dividend name, sure, but nothing new gave me a reason to step in today. Progressive Corporation isn't a bad name either, just not one I had enough conviction to pull the trigger on right now. The broader market wasn't leaning hard either way today, and on days like that I'd rather sit tight than force a move.
So the portfolio closes today wearing the same face it had yesterday. I neither sold nor added to anything I already hold. There was no reason to buy something new, but there was no reason to doubt what's already in there either — I'm filing today as a watch-and-wait, saving the next real opportunity for when it actually shows up.
