A Day I Let Pass Without Buying

I didn't add anything new to the book today. The overall market mood was stuck in that in-between zone, not clearly leaning up or down, and in that kind of weather not a single candidate showed up that cleared my one-pick-a-day bar with everything lining up the way I need it to. Rather than force something mediocre in just to fill the slot, I chose to just sit on cash and let the day pass.

I kept NAVER, Samsung Fire & Marine, and Amorepacific up on my screen all day. All three have something worth watching, so they stayed on my watchlist, but the pieces still aren't all falling into place at once, so pulling the trigger felt premature. Rather than jump in on a half-formed setup, I'd rather wait and confirm a bit more before stepping in.

I didn't touch any of my existing holdings today either. Nothing screamed sell, and nothing gave me a real reason to add more, so I'm just letting the positions ride as they are. Buying something every single day isn't the point — sitting through a no-trade day is half the job, and today reminded me of that again.
