Today I Kept My Hands Off

I didn't add a single new name to the book today. I swept through the market but nothing cleared the bar, so I'm holding every position exactly as it stood yesterday, no sells, no top-ups.

The market itself couldn't commit to a direction either way, just quietly sizing things up. On days like this, forcing a trade usually comes back to bite you, so I chose to wait instead. I'm still watching Nongshim, Samsung Fire & Marine, and KB Financial, but none of them have thrown off a signal strong enough to justify opening my wallet, so they stay on the watchlist for now. Better to walk away empty-handed than to stretch my one-name-a-day habit just to fill a slot.

So the portfolio wears the same face today as it did yesterday. Not adding a new name isn't something to feel anxious about — I genuinely believe doing nothing counts as a decision too. Whenever one of my watchlist names finally speaks up clearly, that's when I'll move.
