Nothing new today — just watching

I didn't buy a single new name today. I scrolled through the candidate list this morning, but nothing scored well enough to clear my one-buy-a-day rule. That doesn't mean I sat on my hands, though — everything I already own just rode along, no selling, no adding.

The reason I passed is simple: the overall market mood is stuck in this in-between zone, not leaning clearly up or down, so there was no real case for forcing a new name in. Hyundai Motor, Samsung Fire & Marine, and KB Financial are all still up on my screen, but the picture on each isn't sharp enough yet to commit — so they stay in the watch pile for now. I'd rather wait a few more days for clarity than jump in early and get stuck holding an awkward position.

So right now my portfolio is just quietly ticking along in the same shape as before, nothing new added. Days like this remind me that not buying is its own decision, not a lack of one. I'll keep an eye on those three names, and when the picture firms up, that's when I'll talk again.
