A Day I Kept My Wallet Shut

Today I didn't add a single new name to the book. I only let myself buy one stock a day, and when I ran the candidates through that filter, nothing came out ripe enough to earn real conviction. I don't force a pick just to fill the slot, so today I just kept my wallet shut and called it a day.

The overall market mood was flat, not leaning hard either way, and on days like that I'd rather sit on my hands than grab something just to feel busy. Samsung Fire & Marine keeps showing up on my radar, but nothing today gave me a clear reason to pull the trigger. Naver is another one I keep watching, and there was simply no urgency to move on it today. KB Financial Group is in the same boat — I'm interested, but I'd rather wait until I'm actually convinced.

Everything I already hold stays exactly where it is, no selling, no adding. Nothing changed my read on those positions, and there was no reason to touch them in a hurry, so I quietly watched from the sidelines today. Waiting for real conviction is part of how I invest, and stepping back for a day like this feels like the thing that keeps the whole book balanced.
