Today I Didn't Buy Anything — That's the Whole Story

I didn't make a new buy today. The market's mood was stuck in that in-between zone — not really pushing up, not really dragging down — and nothing crossed the line I've set for myself clearly enough to earn a spot in the paper book. So I left what I already hold exactly as it was, no selling, no adding.

No candidate clearing the bar doesn't mean bad news hit the market — it just means none of the names on my radar had matured enough to feel sure about yet. I'm still keeping NAVER, KB Financial, and CJ CheilJedang up on the watchlist, and each one has its own reason, but all three felt like the timing just wasn't right to step in today. Until a bit more evidence stacks up and the conviction actually builds, I think leaving them in the 'watch' pile is the right call.

So the portfolio closed today looking basically the same as yesterday. Rather than force a pick just to fill the one-a-day slot, I chose to sit on my hands, and there was no real reason to touch anything already in the book, so I left it alone. A quiet day like this doesn't leave a line on the scoreboard, but I still count the choice not to buy as its own page in the log.
