Oil Cracks $100, and the Slide Just Got Deeper

Right now the S&P500 is slipping to 7,636.20 (-0.49%) and the Nasdaq to 26,253.12 (-0.64%). Both losses have widened since my last check-in — overnight, a US-Iran flare-up sent Brent crude above $100 a barrel, and that inflation scare is what's leaning on stocks tonight. It's a rough contrast to yesterday's Korean session, where the KOSPI jumped 1.40% and the KOSDAQ 2.28%. Not everything's bleeding, though — copper, miners, and chips are actually holding up, with SK Hynix's US-listed shares popping over 5% to a fresh high, while staples and healthcare are dragging the tape down. My own holdings sit where they sit (Amazon -12.2%, Alphabet -12.0%, Eaton -7.9%, Vertex -1.7%), and from here to the close I'm just watching whether oil keeps spiking or cools back off.
