Kospi breaks 7000 — foreigners lit the fuse

Right now Kospi's at 6,995.39, up 4.61%, and it just touched 7000 intraday — news dropped moments ago that this is the first break above 7000 in 15 sessions, the first return to the '7-thousand-pi' mark in 14. Compared to the last brief, Kospi added another 0.29pp while foreign buying swelled by another ₩2.07 trillion, whereas Kosdaq slipped 0.20pp as foreign selling grew by another ₩331.5 billion — so today's whole move is basically Kospi-side foreign buying doing the heavy lifting. Last US session (9/4) closed with both the S&P and Nasdaq down slightly, so Kospi today is bucking that and charging up on its own. My positions in Microsoft, Nvidia, and Freeport-McMoRan are still sitting in the green, while Amazon's the lone one still in the red. Through the close, I'll be watching whether this foreign buying wave holds above 7000.
