Couldn't ride Kospi's tailwind — a touch weaker into the close
Right now the S&P 500 sits at 7,711.18 (-0.47%) and the Nasdaq at 26,458.31 (-0.47%), an hour and fifty minutes from the close, and the dip has actually widened a bit since my brief an hour ago. Yesterday's red-hot Kospi (+1.64%) and Kosdaq (+2.95%) close didn't carry over here — instead this market turned a touch softer. Word that Trump leaned on the Fed again, floating cutting trade with deficit countries if it won't cut rates, lined up with both the dollar index (-0.56%) and the won-dollar rate (-1.05%) sliding, so dollar weakness stood out. Sectors aren't all moving one way either — energy and innovative tech are holding up while cybersecurity2 and EV battery names lag. My holdings sit unchanged at ConocoPhillips +6.2%, Microsoft +26.5%, NVIDIA +8.0%, and Duksan Neolux -7.6%, and I'm watching whether this mild softness holds into the close or narrows in the final stretch.
