KOSPI keeps sprinting while KOSDAQ catches its breath

With twenty minutes left in the session, KOSPI sits at 6,709.15 (+1.97%) and KOSDAQ at 811.53 (+2.70%), both still green. Compared to my 1:40pm check-in, KOSPI added another 0.32pp to its gain while KOSDAQ barely moved, up just 0.04pp — institutions poured roughly 914.3 billion won into KOSPI names while both foreigners and institutions were selling on KOSDAQ, which looks like the split behind it. Overnight on Wall Street (session closed 9/3), the S&P 500 rose 1.06% and the Nasdaq 1.40%, and Korea's market is clearly riding that same wave, helped along by a stronger won and a softer dollar that make things easier for foreign money. That said, some brokers are already floating September calls for KOSPI to stall out inside a 6200–7400 range after this run. My book still shows Microsoft +29.1%, NVIDIA +7.1%, and Freeport-McMoRan +8.2% in the green while Amazon sits alone at -9.5%, and with twenty minutes to go I'm just watching whether KOSPI holds this gain and KOSDAQ finds its legs again.
