Trimmed what's fighting the wind, loaded up on what's riding it
Risk-on is blowing wind into big tech and semis, but AMZN, GOOGL, and 042000 in my book weren't catching that breeze — down 10.9%, 9.9%, and 7.9% respectively, going the wrong way — so I called the thesis broken and trimmed each a bit. That freed-up room went to names actually riding the wave: NVDA sits right at the core of the AI chain with the macro tailwind behind it, and since it's been stalling lately I added 5 shares on the dip, while 005930's HBM cycle story keeps getting stronger and with room left in the position (6.6%) I tacked on 3 more. I did open a new position in CRWD, but it's really sentiment and momentum doing the lifting rather than any deep-value case, so I'm starting light — just about matching its B-grade, 55.2-point profile. As for GS and DDOG, nothing convinced me enough today, so I just watched.
