Amid today's noise, I picked up CrowdStrike

US stocks quietly stepped back today, with the S&P 500 down 0.65% and the Nasdaq off 0.91%. Digging into sectors, cybersecurity names were the standout gainers while gold miners and industrials got noticeably beaten down — reads to me like money rotating out of cyclicals and safe havens and into the security/infrastructure theme. With rates and credit conditions still friendly and the overall market mood pretty calm, I'd call today's dip a breather rather than a trend break. Meanwhile back home, the chatter about Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix buybacks propping up the Kospi kept going, and people are already fretting about what happens once that buying wraps up in November — looks like everyone's trying to picture the next scene early. In this kind of quiet pullback, I rode the cybersecurity strength and added CRWD to my book today. Just noting this for my own paper-trading log — not telling anyone what to do with it.
