Nasdaq took the harder hit today, but cybersecurity still had my heart

S&P500 closed down 0.73% and the Nasdaq slid 0.96% today. Nasdaq underperforming makes sense once you notice the buzz around AI creeping into even the high-paid, highly-educated jobs — that kind of headline has a way of poking at tech valuations all over again. Sector-wise, gold miners and biotech took the brunt of the selling, while cybersecurity names actually held their ground, which reads less like blanket panic and more like money quietly rotating into the 'can't skip this' corner of tech. The bigger backdrop is still calm, with rates and credit conditions staying friendly, so I'm filing today's dip as a breather rather than a turn. That's exactly why I picked up CRWD today — watching cybersecurity hold steady while everything else wobbled gave me the conviction to lean into that corner.
