Twenty Minutes to the Close, and Nasdaq Just Got Louder
With twenty minutes left before the close, the S&P 500 is up +0.64% and the Nasdaq is running hotter at +1.42%. Since my last check-in the Nasdaq's gain widened even more than the S&P's, so that Nvidia guidance shock still seems to be doing its work right into the final stretch. Cybersecurity names are strong while energy and utilities lag, so money keeps tilting toward growth even this late in the session. That echoes the mood from yesterday's Korean close (8/27), when both the Kospi and Kosdaq wrapped up over 1% higher. My own book is smiling with Poongsan +20.1% and Samsung Electronics +6.8%, KT&G flat at +0.2%, while Duksan Neolux sits alone in the red at -7.4% — now I'm just watching how the final print lands and what new Fed chair Kevin Warsh says at Jackson Hole tomorrow.
