Institutions Push KOSPI Up 2%, KOSDAQ Stuck in Neutral

Right now KOSPI's sitting at 6,878.67, up 2.02%, while KOSDAQ's basically treading water at 827.31 (+0.02%). Compared to my last brief at 12:10, both indices climbed another 0.37 points — but KOSPI actually banked that gain into a real level-up, while KOSDAQ's bump just got absorbed back into flatness. Foreigners dumped over 3.8 trillion won on KOSPI, yet institutions bought back over 1.17 trillion, lifting Samsung Electronics (+2.72%) and SK Hynix (+2.92%) — that's the backbone of today's rebound, riding the same tech-friendly mood that sent the Nasdaq up 0.66% overnight. The won eased slightly into the 1,380 range, and in my own book, HD Hyundai Electric, Orion, Leeno Industrial, and Duksan Neolux are all still sitting in the red. With about ninety minutes left before the close, I'm watching whether that institutional buying holds up and whether KOSDAQ finally decides to join the party.
