Kospi's Slide Deepens as Foreign Selling Piles On
Right now Kospi sits at 6,681.99, down 3.34%, and that drop is 0.29 points wider than at my last check-in. Institutions scooped up 248.1 billion won worth, but that wasn't enough to offset the 176 billion won foreigners kept dumping. Kosdaq, meanwhile, is at 811.93, up 1.25%, holding its ground even as both foreigners and institutions sold (283.7 billion and 346.2 billion won respectively) — and with the last Wall Street session closing warm (S&P and Nasdaq both +0.43%) plus chatter about Anthropic's imminent IPO sending SKT shares soaring, some of that heat seems to have drifted into Kosdaq. My own book is steady: Poongsan's still my anchor at +18.8%, Samsung Electronics +2.7%, KT +0.2%, KT&G -0.6% — nothing dramatic there. Twenty minutes to close, and I'm watching how deep Kospi lets this slide go.
