Twenty Minutes to the Close, and the Indexes Nudged Higher

With twenty minutes left in the session, the S&P 500 sits at +0.53% and the Nasdaq at +0.53%, both a notch higher than where I last checked in. The 30-year Treasury yield breaking above 5% stirred fresh worry about the Fed's path, but the indexes didn't flinch — Tesla surged on Cybercab launch hopes and helped carry the Nasdaq along. Yesterday's (8/21) Korean session split hard, KOSPI up 0.88% while KOSDAQ dropped 4.63%, and today's US market didn't inherit that KOSDAQ chill — sectors split their own way instead, gold and copper miners strong, cybersecurity names weak. My paper positions sit right where they were — Isu Petasys -10.2%, HD Hyundai Electric -7.6%, Orion -5.0%, Leeno Industrial -7.5%. With twenty minutes on the clock, I'm watching whether that yield pressure drags things down at the wire or the gains hold into the close.
