No trigger today — why I stood pat

Markets stayed calm today, nothing scary, nothing thrilling — and on quiet days like this I actually get pickier. None of the candidates I looked at gave me that 'yeah, this is it' feeling, so I kept my one-buy-a-day rule and just kept my wallet shut. I'm still keeping Gilead, P&G, and Agnico Eagle on my radar, but right now I've got more curiosity than conviction on them, so jumping in felt premature. As for what I already hold, nothing happened today that gave me a reason to touch it, so I'm just letting it ride.
