Kospi Reclaims 7,000 Intraday as Chip Sentiment Wakes Up

The Kospi climbed 1.31% today and touched 7,000 intraday, while the Kosdaq went the other way, slipping 0.48%. Foreigners poured over 2.1 trillion won into Kospi names and institutions chipped in another 683 billion, and that buying lines up neatly with the strength I saw in cloud-related stocks today. The Kosdaq told a different story — foreigners and institutions both turned sellers there, and weakness in copper/mining and discretionary names dragged that index down. One headline that stood out was a flash report about semiconductor investment sentiment waking back up, which feels like it explains why money leaned toward the big-cap names today. With rates and credit conditions staying friendly and the overall mood calm, I read today's move less as random noise and more as a continuation of capital drifting toward large caps against a hospitable backdrop. I didn't add anything to the book today — just watched from the sidelines.
