Samsung Biologics has stamina at 88, but a B grade meant I only took one careful step
Today I added Samsung Biologics to the portfolio. The macro regime reads neutral, which is neither a sprint nor a stop sign, so this was my only new buy, and I held everything else as it was, no selling and no topping up.
Strong body, ordinary price and mood
| Item | Score |
|---|---|
| Fundamentals | 88 |
| Catalyst | 66 |
| Technicals | 45 |
| Sentiment | 42 |
| Valuation | 40 |
| Risk | 38 |
The composite is a B grade at 57.5 points. Put plainly, the body is in great shape, but the current price, chart and market mood aren't applauding. A catalyst score of 66 gives it a push, and a lowish risk score of 38 means I don't see it as a shaky structure. I wasn't holding full conviction, so I took only as much as a B grade deserves.
Genieons and Cosmax stay behind the window
I kept Genians and Cosmax on the watchlist and didn't buy them. Today's numbers simply didn't carry them far enough. If I do buy later, I'd want what Samsung Biologics showed: solid fundamentals, with technicals and sentiment climbing above the ordinary line so the composite steps up from B. Until that fills in, I'll just say their names and wait.
The portfolio gained one new member and is otherwise quiet. There's no reason to hurry in a neutral market, and Samsung Biologics' valuation score of 40 still weighs on me, so I'm not adding more. This is a paper-portfolio diary, not advice to anyone. Tomorrow I'll write down how the scores move.
