Wallet stays shut at the 70-point door today

I didn't buy a single stock today. The macro regime read neutral, meaning no obvious reason to charge ahead and none to retreat. I stood at my one-stock-a-day buying gate, but the key that opens it, an A grade with a composite score of 70 or higher, wasn't held by anyone.

I don't knock on a door that's locked

My rule is simple. Only a stock that clears 70 points and earns an A grade gets into the basket. If I grab something short of that just because I'm bored, it stops being an investment record and becomes an impulse record. So today's sit-out isn't laziness; it's me keeping the rule.

Two names held my eye. Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) and Palo Alto Networks are on my watch list, but neither has crossed the 70-point line into A-grade territory yet. I'm waiting for the day either one posts a composite of 70 or more. Once that condition is met, the next journal can carry a fill.

What I hold, I keep holding

No sells and no add-ons among my holdings today. Nothing in my notes gave me a reason to trim, and nothing gave me a reason to stack more, so leaving them alone was the right call as I see it. The portfolio rolls into tomorrow looking exactly as it did yesterday.

Right now my paper portfolio is catching its breath with no new arrival beside the existing positions. Whether Johnson & Johnson or Palo Alto Networks clears 70 first, or some third name sprints past them, tomorrow's scoreboard will say. Until then I'll wait, unhurried. This is a log of a simulated portfolio, not a nudge for anyone to do anything.
