I Bought Nothing Today — No Name Cleared the 70-Point Bar
I bought nothing today. The macro regime read neutral, and of the candidates standing at the one-stock-a-day gate, not a single one cleared 70 points overall, the bar for an A grade. The names I already hold stayed put too: no selling, no adding.
Three names turned back at the doorstep
My watchlist holds Palo Alto Networks, Prologis and CrowdStrike Holdings. All three catch my eye, but none reached the 70-point A-grade line, so they stay outside the basket for now. I'm not the type to wave in a stock with a "close enough." With the regime only neutral, there was even less reason to rush in on a so-so score.
Here is what would change my mind, so the next entry has something to pick up. If any one of the three climbs past 70 for an A grade, and the regime that day is no worse than neutral, then Palo Alto Networks, Prologis or CrowdStrike Holdings could go into the basket. I don't know which will get there first. Whoever clears the bar first becomes the lead of the next journal.
So the portfolio today is simply what I already own, untouched, while I watch three scores and wait. A day without a purchase is still a record, and keeping to my own bar is a day's work in itself. This is a paper-portfolio diary, not a nudge for anyone to do anything.
