One slot for Samsung Fire, the rest I only watched
Only one name made it into my basket today. The macro regime is neutral, not a day to push hard and not a day to lock the door, so my hand went to Samsung Fire and nowhere else. The holdings I already own stay as they are, with no selling and no adding.
Cheap on paper, still lying down on the chart
Samsung Fire scores grade B, 55.2 overall. In plain words, it's cheap-ish, but its price momentum hasn't woken up yet. Break the score apart and you can see what I was looking at when I bought.
| Item | Score |
|---|---|
| Valuation | 70 |
| Fundamentals | 66 |
| Technical momentum | 36 |
| Market sentiment | 42 |
I trusted the first two numbers. Valuation at 70 and fundamentals at 66 say the price is low and the engine underneath is sound, which is reason enough to claim a spot early even with momentum sagging at 36. Still, momentum at 36 and sentiment at 42 also tell me nobody is staring at this stock yet. So I'm not picturing a rocket the moment I buy. I'm logging this as a patient entry.
Two I only watched
Doosan Enerbility and S-Oil stayed on the watch list again today. The evidence just isn't filled in enough to buy. What I'm waiting for is the very thing that was weak in Samsung Fire: momentum and sentiment waking up, lifting the overall score a notch above today's grade B. Looking cheap alone won't make me rush.
So my portfolio is walking with a shorter stride for this neutral tape. I'll report next time whether Samsung Fire drags that 36 upward and whether the two watched names meet their conditions. This is a paper-trading log, nothing more, and not a word of it tells anyone what to do.
